I just got a chocolate craving, so I put these things in my blender:
- A frozen cube of coconut milk (I just freeze it in mini cupcake trays to use in smoothies)
- 1/2 frozen banana
- A few spoonfuls avocado
- Cocoa or cacao powder
- Coconut water to blend
- Unsweetened coconut flakes
- A medjool date
Trying this right now! Substituting carob for cocoa and using nothing frozen (although the coconut ice cubes are a good idea). Added soaked almonds and rice milk. Couldn’t find a date (oh well).

Wow, that was great! I love how the avocado takes on the flavour of the banana and coconut and softens the whole smoothie. Saved one glass for later.
